What your report contains

  • Role-fit score

A score out of 100 against the skills the role you chose is hired for, each skill scored on a fixed scale with the CV line that proves it.

  • ATS check

Eleven checks an applicant tracking system cares about, from the text layer and the headings to keywords and dates, each with its fix.

  • Structure and skills

Your CV drawn section by section, marked good, weak or missing, and the skills it proves next to the ones the role expects.

  • Lines to rewrite

Your own CV lines with the problem in each and a stronger line to use instead, with placeholders where only you know the number.

  • A project plan

Projects that close what is missing, each with concrete steps, what you will have at the end and the line to add to your CV.

  • Interview kit

The questions your CV will raise in an interview, story prompts for your strengths and honest answers for your gaps.

The ATS checks we run

An applicant tracking system reads your CV before a person does. Most of these checks are computed from the file itself, so the same CV always gets the same result.

  • Text layerThe CV is real text, not a scanned image.
  • PagesTwo pages, or three for senior roles.
  • File sizeUnder 2 MB, so uploads do not fail.
  • Contact blockAn email and a phone number or LinkedIn at the top.
  • Section headingsExperience, Education and Skills under names an ATS knows.
  • LayoutNo columns, tables or text boxes an ATS reads out of order.
  • KeywordsThe tools the role is screened for, named where you used them.
  • DatesEvery role dated, in one style.
  • Personal dataPhoto, birth date and marital status, depending on where you apply.
  • LanguageWritten in the language the market screens in.
  • File nameNamed like FirstName-LastName-Role.pdf.

Frequently asked questions

What is an ATS CV check?

An applicant tracking system (ATS) is the software most companies use to receive applications. It reads your CV as text, files your lines under headings and searches them for the role's keywords. An ATS CV check tells you whether that reading works on your file and what to fix when it does not.

How do I make my CV ATS-friendly?

Export it from your editor as a PDF with real text, keep one column, use the headings Experience, Education and Skills, date every role in one style, put your email and phone at the top, and name the tools the role asks for in the lines where you used them. The report checks each of these on your own file.

Is the CV assessment free?

A free account includes a number of assessments every month. When they are used, you can wait for the next month or get more.

Which jobs can I check my CV for?

IT jobs: DevOps and cloud, software engineering, data and AI, cybersecurity, IT support and help desk, networking and QA, 22 roles in all, plus any other IT role you type in.

Can I check an Arabic CV?

Yes. The report is written in Arabic or English, the language you use the site in, and lines from your CV are quoted as you wrote them.

Why did I get the same result when I uploaded my CV again?

The same CV with the same answers always gets the same report, so you can trust the score. Change your CV or your answers and you get a new assessment, with what moved since the last one.

Is my CV stored?

No. The file is deleted as soon as the report is made. Only the report stays in your account.
